Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

As a Working Student in Purchasing, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in an international automotive environment and get an insight into modern purchasing and supplier management.

Support our Purchasing team in day-to-day activities with a focus on supplier management
Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers – both nationally and internationally – via calls and video meetings
Create reports and maintain supply chain databases
Support purchasing operations and contribute to various departmental projects and tasks
Get the opportunity to learn how purchasing processes work in a global e-mobility company and develop your professional skills

What you need is:

Currently enrolled in a university or university of applied sciences, preferably studying Business Administration, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
Commercial education (e.g. HAK / Business Academy or equivalent) is an advantage
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and an interest in working with databases
SAP experience is an advantage
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
You are a reliable team player who enjoys working in an international environment and communicating with different stakeholders

The annual gross salary (full time/38.5 hour) for this position starts at EUR 37.780,–. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a competitive overpayment in line with the market.
