Our group is characterized by an in-depth understanding of the build-up and function of Li-ione-cells as well as the battery.
We work together with development teams at our headquarters in South Korea and coordinate the creation of performance simulations on electrical power, thermal behavior and service life at our site. We work with various tools for analysis and simulation, but also with Matlab and Dymola.

With expertize in the areas of computer sciences, electrotechnical engineering and physics, we develop functional safety concepts, according to ISO 262602, and perform safety analyses.
In close cooperation with the groups from electrical hardware, software and testing we develop requirements and create the pack-architecture of our products.

Our Electronical Hardware team is concerned with almost everything in relation to all printed and electronic circuits at Samsung SDI BS.
For detailed analyses the Hardware Lab is available to us. Here the necessary measuring instruments and tools are at our disposal.
In additon, the experts for the complex topic of electromagnetic compatability (EMC) are an essential part of our department.
Sweating together, brings us together - that is why we also strengthen our team after work.
