Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Performing structural simulations on component and system level e.g. durability, crash and static analysis
Taking an active role in developing battery system concepts in a cross functional team, from acquisition to series development
Improvement and development of simulation methods
Support on system test and measurement data analysis
Internal and external presentation of results

What you need is:

Completed technical education (preferably studies in mechanical or automotive engineering, physics)
Several years of experience in simulation of battery systems is desirable
Professional knowledge of FEM relevant programs – preferably LS-Dyna, Ansa, FemFat/FemSite (fatigue)
Expert Competence in implicit and explicit simulation methods
Excellent team and communication skills
Systematic approach, high level of commitment and responsibility

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 55.000.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
