Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Lead and manage product development projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality, performance, and customer requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams, managing project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
Drive technical project execution by coordinating engineering activities and ensuring alignment with system requirements, platform strategies, and established development processes.
Monitor technical maturity, project progress, and risk status, supporting technical decision-making while working closely with engineering experts.
Act as the primary technical interface for customers as well as internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and regular project status reporting.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Testing, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless project execution across all development phases.
Support change and risk management activities while contributing to the successful industrialization of new products.

What you need is:

Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or University) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field.
Several years of project management experience in product development, ideally in the automotive or e-mobility industry, with experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project. IPMA Level C (or an equivalent certification) is an advantage.
Strong technical understanding of complex systems and product development, ideally with experience in battery development.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
Structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style, with fluent German and English and a willingness to travel.

The annual gross salary (full time/38.5 hour) for this position starts at EUR 65.000,–. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a competitive overpayment in line with the market.
