Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Leadership of the program/project team, interface to the Steering Committee and the external customer
Implementation of the assigned project scope (production or development project) taking into account the overall project optimum on the basis of the contracts and objectives underlying the project (dates, quality, technology, costs, production time and weight)
Management of the offer process with regard to the coordination of technical content and monetary implications
Coaching and motivating of the assigned team (need performance to give guide line and exact directions to the team)
Initiation of necessary training measures or initiation of project-specific training

What you need is:

Completed technical education and theoretical basics
Several years of professional experience in a similar position (Lead of Program development, product development experience, Program Management etc.)
Certificates such as PMP, Prince2, PgMP, IPMA, etc. desired
Accurate and analytical thinking
Understanding of complex technical correlations and their dependencies
Teamoriented and structured way of working in projects (a lot of opportunities of collaboration with Hungary, Korea and Germany)
High flexibility and resilience
Safe and representative appearance
Fluency in English and German for both verbal and written communication (level B2 is a minimum), Korean is an advantage
Readiness for business trips (Including Asia)
Commercial knowledge and cost awareness for inancial reports and controlling for dedicated program

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 56.000.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
