Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Develop test plans and test cases based on customer and internal requirements
Plan and drive testing, verification and validation activities
Serve as a key interface between the project team, customers and external partners
Coordinate and steer work packages with Test Analysts and Test Engineers
Monitor progress and costs and report testing and validation status to the overall project and Steering Committee
Ensure seamless alignment between testing activities and relevant project and technical teams

What you need is:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical field
Several years of experience in project or sub-project management, ideally in testing, verification or validation
Structured, independent and process-oriented working style with strong skills in planning and progress monitoring
Strong communication and coordination skills, with a proactive and confident approach towards internal and external partners
Cross-disciplinary technical understanding of high-voltage systems, mechanics, electronics, software and cell technology; experience with battery systems, powertrain or automotive technology is an advantage
Knowledge of the automotive V-model and verification & validation processes is a plus
Very good command of English and good command of German

The annual gross salary (all-in) for this position starts at EUR 53,000. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a competitive overpayment in line with the market.
