Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Technical coordination in the development phase of Li-ion batteries at system level
Technical clarifications with the customer
Discussion of system requirements with the customer and elaboration of system specifications
Development of the system architecture in cooperation with other development teams
The development takes place according to automotive processes (ASPICE and ISO 26262)

What you need is:

Completed technical studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) such as Software, Hardware, Electrical Engineering or Physics
Relevant experience in the automotive industry or similar prefered
Knowledge in the field of embedded systems development
Understanding of the functional interrelationships existing in the overall system (electrochemistry, high-voltage components, electronics, mechanics, software)
Independent, systematic and process-oriented approach, great initiative and sense of responsibility
Strong team and communication skills
Fluency in English for both verbal and written communication (German skills are considered an advantage)

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 47.000.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
