Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Design and develop test framework for LI-ION battery testing equipment.
Maintain and update the automation for the existing projects, according to system specification.
Participate in the design of test set-up (electric, electronic, SW).
Develop testcases based on test specifications

What you need is:

Completed technical education in Computer science, Automotive Engineering, Electronics or similar
Good programming experience in C++/C
Knowledge of Linux, Python, CAPL (Vector Tools)
Knowledge of Eclipse as IDE, Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform), GIT is an advantage
Basic knowledge of LabView and NI Systems
Interdisciplinary understanding of complex system (High voltage systems, mechanics, electronics, software, electrochemistry) is an advantage
Optional: Experience with HV battery systems, automotive testing and relevant norms and standards
Systematic approach, high level of commitment and responsibility
Excellent team and communication skills
Highly motivated and challenged by new technologies
Good English skills

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 49.700.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
