Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Disciplinary, strategic and project related management of a team in the area of System Engineering
Manage product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear and achievable deliverables
Establish and support structured REQ and architectural thinking throughout the design teams
Management of Li-Ion cell integration related scope of work by fostering collaboration with internal and global interfaces
Establish a global BMS platform meeting market REQ in cost and functionality
Innovation in BMS development process striving for efficiency (process, documentation, tools, certification)
Create and manage boundaries to achieve external certifications in FuSa and Cyber Security on time

What you need is:

Completed technical education
Several years of professional experience in a managing role in automotive development area
Knowledge about automotive REQ management processes / tools
Technical open minded and ambitious to act in the interface between all disciplines engaged in battery technology
Leading by example, integrity, transparency & accountability
Innovation and cost-driven mindset
Seeing the future with strategic thinking
Very good English and German language skills

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (All-in) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 98.000.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
