Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

Review and discussion of customer SW Requirements
Review of SW-related parts of System Requirements and System Architecture
Interdisciplinary cooperation for the purpose of creating of consistent SW Requirements for automotive embedded battery control SW
Modelling of SW Architecture using UML
Continuous improvement of modularity and reusability of SW Requirements and SW Architecture
Creation of software development documentation according to automotive processes (ASPICE and ISO 26262)
Participation in the further improvement of development processes

What you need is:

Completed technical education (master or bachelor degree)
Knowledge in software development for embedded systems (C, Simulink, AUTOSAR knowledge advantageous)
Experience regarding functional safety according to ISO26262 for software advantageous
Experience with UML 2.0 and Enterprise Architect (> 1 year)
Work experience in battery development/automotive industry advantageous
Independent, systematic and process-oriented approach, great initiative and sense of responsibility
Very good command of English (German is an advantage)
Experience in working with international teams advantageous
Strong team and communication skills

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 49.700.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
