Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:

  • Development of cyber security embedded software for battery management systems (xEV) in an automotive environment (Autosar, ASPICE, ISO 21434, ISO 26262)
  • Review and analysis of SW-related cyber security customer and system requirements
  • Development of SW requirements for cyber security functionalities
  • Design of cyber security embedded SW architecture using Autosar and state-of-the-art automotive µC
  • Co-work on implementation of cyber security in SW development processes, methods and tools
  • Co-work on TARA analysis

What you need is:

  • Relevant technical education (Bachelor, Master, PhD)
  • Knowledge of cyber security in embedded systems
  • Knowledge in usage of cryptographic algorithms, cryptographic keys and certificate handling
  • Proactive workstyle
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
  • Professional command of English language

    Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of automotive cyber security standard ISO 21434
  • Senior level SW development using secure coding in embedded C, MISRA and CERT C secure coding standards
  • Experience with HSM (hardware security module) and secure boot
  • Experience with requirements and architecture tools (e.g. DOORS, Enterprise Architect)
  • Command of German language

Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 49.700.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
